Chapter Leadership
The ACSM Northwest executive board is an all-volunteer board that serves the mission of the Chapter. The board is made up of 11 positions which are elected by the Chapter membership. Below you will find pictures and contact information of our current executive board. New board members are elected every year as most positions rotate on a 3 year basis (2 years for student positions). Board positions opening in 2026 (applications due March 23rd, 2026):
- President-Elect (3 year term)
- Regional Student Representative (2 year term)
- Treasurer (3 year term)
The application form and descriptions of the open board positions are below. Please contact info@acsmnorthwest.org with any questions about the positions or expected contributions. Each of the positions requires attendance at all executive board meetings including but not limited to: Annual Meeting in early spring (in-person), summer conference call, and a fall board meeting. Many of these are conducted virtually aside from the Annual Meeting.
President Elect
The president elect works closely with the current president and past president to oversee the chapter business. The president elect is responsible for organizing the chapter social, reviews abstracts and supports the annual conference. This position is a three year position rotating into the president and past president
Regional Student Representative
The regional student representative is a two year commitment. The regional student representative provides the student voice and connects the Chapter to students in the region and responsibilities include Annual Meeting planning and student knowledge bowl preparation.
Treasurer
The treasurer is a three year term and attends all chapter executive board meetings and our Annual Meeting. The treasurer is responsible for all funds and transactions involving dues, fees, or assessments, and shall keep proper books, records, and accounts. The treasurer also aids in the regional Annual Meeting planning and execution and financial reporting to national ACSM.
